From the Top of Mount Everest, a 360-Degree View

Climbing Mount Everest in Tibet is the stuff of legend: there are many thrilling stories of victory and defeat in attempts to conquer the highest peak in the world. Now this video will show you what it’s really like to scale the infamous Eiger north face through the eyes of a climber. The film is part of Project360 which aims to use a cube of GoPro cameras to capture a 360 perspective of the mountain — footage that will then be used to get a more accurate map of where climbers are headed.

On the other side of the world, the animal experience of mountain life is just as important as the human. Sonora, Mexico’s Sierra el Tigre, or “Tiger Mountains,” are home to native jaguar populations. You can get involved in protecting this delicate habitat, and preserve the high-altitude environment of jaguars for years to come
