It’s no surprise that this video ended up going viral, and has amassed more than 280,000 retweets and counting.
The origins of the video are from an organic farm in Bundjalung Country, Australia. Mother The Mountain Farm is run by two sisters named Julia and Anastasia Vanderbyl. They were the ones who captured the original video on camera and then uploaded it to their Instagram.
In their caption of the footage, they wrote, “A sleepy ducky under a nasturtium flower sun hat, having a nap in the middle of the mint garden. This little one is from our latest batch of Call ducks that hatched two days ago!”
The now-famous little duck is named Nasturtium. The Vanderbyl sisters named her after the flower that she was wearing on her head at the time that the video was filmed. Of course, Nasturium isn’t the only duckling living at the farm, nor is she the only one who likes to wear flowers on her head.
There is another precious video of Nasturtium with her duckling sister, Mint. The two of them are both rocking very pretty flower hats together.
