Family Of Meerkats Greet Wildlife Photographer

Photographing wildlife can be exhausting and challenging, but it can also be incredible. After all, snapping rare photos of wild animals often takes a lot of patience but it provides a rewarding experience.

Just ask South African wildlife photographer Nick Kleer.

He knows just what’s like to get up closer and personal with nature in order to get the best shots, and he recently had the experience of a lifetime while photographing some meerkats.

Kleer took his camera to Jack’s Camp in Makgadikgadi Pans National Park in northern Botswana when the incident occurred. He was hoping to capture some stunning shots of the gregarious animals, but he ended up getting a lot more than that.

After laying down on the ground with his camera, Kleer was greeted warmly by a family of meerkfats. Even the babies got involved!
