Moose’s Family Sneak Into Man’s Backyard And Decide To Make It Their Own

When we think of backyard visitors, most of us think birds or even the occasional raccoon, possum, or fox – depending on where your home is located.

But if you’re living in Alaska, you might just find yourself coming face to face with a rather large guest in your backyard.

For Roland Rydstrom, who resides in Anchorage, his backyard welcomed a very unusual grouping. A mother moose and her two babies showed up unexpectedly and made themselves right at home in his garden.

The adorable trio moved right in and were perfect guests – minus the accidental hiccup when one of them knocked over Rolan’s marigold pot.

For most of the day, they just hung out and napped in the grass. They even grazed some of the greenery that was back there, but Roland didn’t mind. He was happy to have them in his yard and decided to take a few pictures of the adorable little family.

He couldn’t help it and uploaded them to Facebook for everyone to see. The pictures were very touching, and stood as a reminder that at any moment, we might experience an exciting visit from unexpected guests.
