Tiny Orphaned Wombat Baby Gets Showered With Love And Grows Up Right Before Our Eyes

This tiny orphaned wombat baby was rescued and now resides at Sleepy Burrows Wombat Sanctuary in Australia. Seeing how small she once was will melt your heart! After being hand-raised by staff and greatly taken care of, she grew bigger and stronger each day. Today, she looks so grown up and even gets along with dogs! Watch her transformation in the video below, and prepare for your heart to melt to soup!

Sleepy Burrows Wombat Sanctuary specializes in rehabilitating injured, orphaned and pet wombats. They raise orphaned wombats and teach them the necessary skills so that they can be release back into the Australian bush where they belong.

The sanctuary reminds people that wombats are not pets. They are very cute when they are little, as are all animals, but once they grow up, they become aggressive, strong marsupials who belong in the wild. If you see a wombat struggling, get professional help; don’t ever take it upon yourself to help.
